Apologies for the cheesy heading but I couldn't be more excited about my childhood idols
THE SPICE GIRLS
performing at the closing ceremony of the London 2012 Olympic Games.
Team GB has done our country extremely proud during the games by demonstrating first class sportsmanship throughout and of course by coming third in the medal table !!
London has been such a spectacular host that it will be sad to see the games coming to an end ....
But every cloud has a silver lining ..,
And that silver glimmer of hope comes in the form of five fabulous females ; Posh , Scary , Baby , Sporty and of course Ginger ..... Collectively known as the Spice Girls , whom will be performing to celebrate the closing of the games.
As my childhood favourites I will be sure to be hunting out my platforms shoes and union jack dress to Spice up my Night !!
In honour of these fabulous memories here is a short little homage to the best girl band EVER...
Although I am yet to have a big sparkly rock on my finger I am honoured to have been asked to be my sister in Law to be's Maid of Honour .... This is not only a fabulous excuse to wear a pretty dress but to also get my hands stuck in to planning my first real wedding .
WEDDING PLANNER HERE I COME..
Other then a four day weekend to thank her Majesty for I think this weekend is a splendid opportunity to celebrate all things british ... even if that means simply cracking open a bottle of Pimms ( any excuse) !! Or maybe going as far as a second bottle with a rather patriotic picnic of cucumber sandwiches and strawberry jam scones.
P.S Dont forget the bunting ...
As a lover of crowns and all things british I am sure to get involved with festivities of some kind....

A rather fine piece topiary that I will get my gardener to start on after the bank holiday ..... ( just need to employ one first ..... oh and guess a garden is required as well )
Tomorrow marks the date of the next adventure in my life , where i am set to embark on a months internship with the Talent Management Company Can Associates.
It is a prestigious company that I have wanted to work with for the past few years so now that the time has come i feel one lucky lady ....
It has also encouraged me to follow more of my dreams and chase those exciting adventures I have always wanted to go on ..... I encourage any body with things they want to do with their lives no matter how big or small to fulfil these and enjoy and capture everything that comes their way.xXx
It Dawned on me when I woke up today that it is nearly a year since i jetted off to work in the world of fairy dust........ Needless to say I now am suffering from Disney Blues where the only cure is to return to the dream maker..... my bank account however is not agreeing with this, so i guess i'm just gonna have to stay a little bit blue for a little longer and have a Disney movie marathon as a temporary remedy xXx
