The reason I felt the need to blog about this is because I believe such news should be broadcasted in a positive manner in the media, and the focus should not be on negative aspects of the story especially after the difficult time Amanda has had with her previous pregnancy.
I believe public interest is too driven towards negative stories that we miss the opportunity to embrace good news and until the individual has come forward and spoken at their own discretion that their privacy should be respected.
