My Mini Survival Guide:Uni life ....

Living the uni life even if its not the life you want to be living....

As many of my close family and friends know my university experience has not been one to be coined the time of my life !!!!

I decided to write this post (which I be will adding to ) as a little way of helping those who may not be having the best time either !
I hope that it helps you to see that in this moment in time the world is your oyster, there’s no time like the present and all those other clichés that your no doubt being reminded of on a daily basis.

1:         Do it the old fashion way and send little postcards and letters, you will be amazed at how the butterflies will come alive in your tummy when you see something in a pretty envelope on your door mat (that’s not a bill J)

2:                Make the most of local landmarks ; absorb the culture that’s around you , especially if your likely never to return to this particular city then make the most of your surroundings  and make some memories that you can share with your loved ones at home. This could be feeling super clever at a museum or even a little shopping spree at the local market to see what exciting  treasures you can find .

3:                Try and volunteer in a work place close to the course that you are studying . Not only will this make you more employable but also brings you closer to the reason you came to uni in the first place I;e will hopefully make you feel more involved and thus happier at the prospect of being at uni.
·

4:                  If nothing else indulge yourself in a good book accompanied by a cup of tea and a cup cake. In doing so can take you momentarily to a place where you can only dream of and if you get the right one can inspire you to follow your own .

5:                           Although I’d never admit it to his face my boyfriends suggestion of a run can also be a fabulous way of clearing your mind . if this makes you want to set fire to a pair of trainers without even a second thought then even a walk through a pretty park can definitely put you in a brighter place .
Most importantly , never lose sight of the reason why you went to uni in the first place..... with the inclusion of the things above, planning and preparing your uni work  wont make it  feel such a chore. .....
Always keep your focus on the end goal ; that this degree is going to get you the job you have always dreamt of .....
If that isn't a big enough incentive then do what I do and start hunting now for your dream graduation dress and sparkly Christian Louboutin Shoes ( believe me it works) xXx

Please feel free to comment as would love to hear about your uni experiences.
